50 States Blog Hop West Virginia

Welcome to the 50 States Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the 50 States Blog Hop! Most of us would love to travel but  are having staycations this year. What better way to travel but through  a blog hop. This hop was inspired by our host Shawnee's journey across  the United States as she traveled with her family to their new home. The  United States is truly beautiful with many wonderful places to visit  and see.

If you've hopped along from Kansas, then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard or happened along from somewhere else, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start with the first state in the union, Delaware, because you won't want to miss out on any of the fun (or any of the blog candy!!)...

There is an AMAZING Grand Prize Package for one LUCKY hopper (winner chosen by Rafflecopter)!!  To be entered to win, please do the following:

So what's the Grand Prize???
Cricut Cartridge - Destinations, beautiful handmade flowers from Shannon at Creative Chaos Flowers, and a $20 Gift Certificate to Scraptastical Kreations.
Now on to my state and my project....
Welcome to West Virgina! I hope you are enjoying all the states you have visited along the way....I had the unexpected pleasure to drive through West Virginia a couple years ago when I was on a vacation with my dad & sister when we decided to alter our normal road trip route...We ended up spending 3 days in Charleston, WV where we relaxed and enjoyed learning about WV and seeing some of their local sites. South Charleston had recently re-dedicated a park to be a WW-2 and Viet-Nam Veteran's memorial park. It was just stunning, as you will get to see....tomorrow....Today you get to see a little glimpse at the State Capital & some of the wonderful items shared there. Please be sure to come back tomorrow, I have more pics to share with you tomorrow.

Now you can hop to Nevada with Lisa; Remember to leave a comment on each state to be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE!!

Very nice layout! Love the colors you used. I think I drove through there on my big road trip in 2002. I just drove through a tiny tip of WV, but it was very green and lovely. TFS!
